Bio-One of DC partners with many local businesses that generate medical waste to help remove and dispose of it. As a locally-based company, we’re proud to support our community in this way.

We follow state guidelines for the safe removal and disposal of our regularly scheduled medical waste pickups. Weekly, monthly, and quarterly transportation is offered from facilities such as:

  • Medical examiner offices
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing homes

If you produce medical waste, we can dispose of it for you. Our clearly marked containers prevent any user error during transportation and disposal. When done correctly, the risk is minimized and our job is complete. 

We offer training to teach paramedics and first responders how to deal with medical waste. Many healthcare workers come in contact with it every day.

Our training involves methods of how to best handle it as well as how to limit risks associated with its handling.

The team at Bio-One is top-notch. I closed on a property and needed to have to have it cleared before I could start renovations. I called Bio-One and specified what I needed and told them of my timeline—I needed to get my team in the house fast. I’m hey explained their process and was able to accommodate my short timeline. The house looked so different with all the filth the removed. I was surprised after the work was completed because I was able to save. The flooring in two rooms. With COVID-19 and increased rat presence, while we do have a rodent control contractor, but the rats became relentless with waste all over our patio Bio One was very responsive, coming in less than 24 hours and extremely thorough, cleaning the waste and disinfecting everything from the patio tiles, artificial grass, patio furniture and more. It now smells super clean and actually gave our patio a spring cleaning! Haha. Thank you! Highly recommend.

Besides the extraordinary customer service and professionalism, I am most grateful for Jermaine’s and Tony’s sympathetic manner. The entire Bio-One team went above and beyond to support our condominium community while managing an outrageous hoarding clean-out. Jermaine was in regular contact me and showed tremendous patience with the hovering mother still processing the horrific contaminated scene. Jermaine made two courtesy visits to accommodate the mother’s need to go through items and move heavy objects. Jermaine provided extra disinfectant, treated the area with an anti-COVID product and left an air purifier overnight to appease my smell sensitivity - all free of charge! I received 3 bids and Tony’s estimate was a significantly better value. I hope the universe responds in kind to their generosity - I HEART BIO-ONE!

When I found dead mice and mouse droppings in my garage, I had no idea who to call or where to begin to clean it up. Tony was incredibly helpful when he came by to take a look. His team came a couple of days later and carefully disinfected my boxes and moved them into a storage unit. They did a thorough cleaning of my garage all within a day. I highly recommend these folks for those jobs that you can't just hire a maid service for.

They did a great job! They gave me fast service and arrived on time, and were very compassionate about what for me was an emotional issue. I needed a cleaning after my cat brought in a baby rat that took me about 6 weeks to get rid of. It had made a stinking mess in my kitchen in in accessible areas I couldn't clean properly, and I felt I couldn't sanitize any part of my kitchen properly or get out the stench using normal products and techniques. They were able to make my kitchen clean and safe, and get out about 90% of the stench, which has continued to fade since then, and may be gone now. I am so grateful.
