Fentanyl Remediation

Fentanyl contamination is a growing threat to many North Carolina communities. According to the NC DOJ, From 2000 to 2022, more than 37,000 North Carolinians died from drug overdoses as the opioid crisis continues to impact residents of Asheville’s close-knit circle. The rising risk of fentanyl poses an imminent risk to public health and safety through a variety of vectors of secondhand exposure.
